Invitation Tradition

Posted by Lynn Crow | Under Invitation Making, Weddings Wednesday Oct 8, 2008

I just had a customer in the showroom here at Something Fabulous who has a Norwegian son in law to be.  She informed me that it is an old Norwegian tradition for the bride to make her invitations by hand to invoke good luck and good attendance at the wedding.

I wonder if it is OK the get the groom to do the glueing!!

Just an interesting tidbit!

Lynn
